- 26 June to 28 June, 2026 - 1000 Islands National Park, 3-days, 2-nights

Paddling and camping in the 1000 Islands is an opportunity not to be missed! The 1000 Islands region is an integral part of the Frontenac Arch Biosphere Reserve, a member of the UNESCO World Network of Biosphere Reserves. As well, the 1000 Islands National Park consists of about 120 of the islands where research is done on the local environment so we can preserve this local treasure. They have also made several of these islands available to the public so that campers can enjoy the experience of the islands.
This women’s only expedition will be led by our experienced female guide. We will paddle through the 1000 Islands exploring the natural beauty of the islands and the waterways, and discover some of the secret areas that can only be explored by kayak or canoe. There are open water areas as well as small inlets and coves to paddle.
We will paddle to different destinations to experience the local treasures, and you can practice your paddling strokes. Depending on the group, we can also paddle to a nearby hiking trail and have a picnic lunch, or we can go to the International Rift to play in the swifter current. There is plenty of variety for everyone.
In the evening, you can share a meal, enjoy your favorite drink, and talk about the experiences of the day. The fresh air, exercise and good food should prepare you for a good night’s sleep.
This expedition is limited to 8 participants. Book your adventure early to ensure you have a spot.
