This 3 day kayak trip is intended for those people interested in experiencing the awesome wilderness beauty of the 30,000 Islands of Ontario’s Georgian Bay, “the best wilderness fresh water kayaking area in the world” while learning basic kayak paddling skills and wilderness camping techniques.
We will be paddling single person kayaks to a near shore island in the Franklin Island wilderness reserve in the 30, 000 island group of Georgian Bay where we will make camp for 2 nights. Our certified Paddle Canada guides and instructors will be teaching you the necessary skills for safe and confident kayak travel while we explore the many beautiful wilderness islands and inlets of the incredible area. You will have the opportunity to achieve a Paddle Canada Basic Sea Kayaking Skills certification on this trip at no extra charge. By the end of the 3 days you will feel very comfortable and confident in a sea kayak.
