Rideau Canal Women Only Paddling Trip

Rideau Canal Women Only Paddling Trip

$1400/ person, plus tax / fees

Meet new people or bring a friend to enjoy an exciting paddling excursion along the historic Rideau Canal system.

Paddle between Chaffey’s Locks and Perth enjoying the scenic beauty of the lakes, rivers and locks that connect Lake Ontario and the nation’s capital, Ottawa. You  will hear the history of the lock system that was a critical waterway to carry militia and goods between these two strategic ports, and you will pass by quaint cottages and small villages along the way. Our experienced female guides will ensure your paddling adventure is full of good experiences and good exercise!

At night you will stay near the canal system at a local lodge where you will enjoy the creature comforts of a warm bed, hot shower, and home-cooked meals. You can also enjoy the private dock and beach for a late day swim and a pre-dinner cocktail.

Each morning you will be transported to the starting point for the day’s paddling adventure along the path, and at the end of the paddling day you will be transported back to the lodge for a well-deserved shower. After dinner you can sit on the dock, by the campfire or retire to your cabin to read a book before retiring for the night.

We provide the kayaks, and required safety equipment for our expeditions unless you prefer to bring your own. All food and accommodation is provided. Participants are encouraged to bring their own personal kayaking gear such as gloves or other items that make the trip more enjoyable.

All our expeditions have a capacity limit so book early to ensure your spot.
